Our experience is intimate, respectful, and rooted in marine conservation. You won’t find crowds or rushed tours here — just small groups, expert guidance, and meaningful, hands-on interaction with one of the ocean’s most intelligent creatures.

Not at all. Our excursions are designed for confident swimmers and snorkelers — no SCUBA certification required.

Each session lasts about 2.5 hours, including a pre-dive briefing, guided time in the water, and conservation wrap-up.

Yes — as long as participants are comfortable in the ocean and able to follow instructions. We welcome guests ages 10 and up. Private tours are also available for families or those seeking a gentler pace.

The Hawaiian day octopus is a wild creature, but pose very little danger to guests. These animals are calm, intelligent, and gentle. We ensure every encounter is safe, respectful, and unforgettable.

You will need snorkeling gear , swimsuit, towel, water, sunscreen and an appetite for adventure.

No worries — we offer snorkeling gear rentals for a small additional fee. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll have everything ready for you.

For the safety of our guests, we do not allow personal cameras during the excursion. Our professional photographer captures every moment for you — so you can focus fully on the experience and receive beautiful, high-quality images after your dive.

Professional photography is included in our Premium Bundle. You’ll receive 3-5  high-resolution, fully edited images of your experience — perfect for sharing and memorializing the experience.

Hawaiian day octopus are wild marine animals. We cannot guarantee that you will encounter one. With years of local experience, our team maintains the highest octopus-sighting success rates on O‘ahu —  If we do not find one, we offer up to a 25% refund of your booking.

Your safety and the quality of the experience come first. If conditions aren’t safe or ideal, we will reschedule or offer a full refund. 

Yes, transportation is available for an additional fee. We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off options. Please let us know during booking if you’d like to add transportation to your excursion.

Tipping is always appreciated but never expected

Cancellations or schedule changes must be submitted no later than 48-hours before the reserved departure time to qualify for a full refund. Any changes or cancellations made after the 48-hour will incur a 100% fee
